完整的“房子”并不适合海边,因为它可能太过孤独。
为了建立建筑与海的恰当关系,我们将“一层房子”上下分半、虚实分化,转化成“台子”与“棚子”,消减建筑的存在感,并回应海边可能发生的两种室外活动方式。然后利用海滩的缓坡顺势构成两组错置半层与颠倒的台子与棚子,分别对应住宅和工作室的不同私密氛围。在室内,建筑的“半层化”开启身体与视觉的辩证游戏——是坐是卧,是起身走动还是坐目游移,身体的边界和视觉的边界开始在局部半层高度的设限中被分化,人的行为开始与建筑的半层结构展开对话。

The complete "house" is not suitable for the seaside, because it maybe too lonely.
In order to establish a proper relationship between architecture and the sea, we divide the "one-storey house" into two parts up and down, and transform into "platform" and "shed", reduce the sense of existence of the building, and respond to the two outdoor activities that may occur at the seaside. Then, two sets of staggered half-storey and inverted terraces and shed are constructed by the gentle slope of the beach, which correspond to the different private atmosphere of the residence and the studio, respectively. In the interior, the "half-layer" of architecture starts the dialectical game of body and vision - sitting or lying, rising or moving, the boundary of body and vision begins to be differentiated in the setting of local half-layer height, and human behavior begins to dialogue with the half-layer structure of architecture.
